Conditions of Use

The Tea Experience aims to provide excellent customer service and the terms and conditions below are designed to help meet this aim.

1. Despatch. Pricing and availability

Every endeavour is made to ensure prices and stock availability are accurate.

If an item has been discounted already - i.e. it is in a sale section or is displaying a discounted notice‚ then it will be excluded from any money off coupons applied at checkout.

The aim is to despatch goods the same where goods are ordered by 1pm or within 3 working days from the date of ordering. Should an item be out of stock and despatch cannot be undertaken within 3 days you will be advised by email as soon as possible after receiving your order. You will be offered a full refund‚ or partial shipment of the order.

If you opt for partial shipment‚ once the remaining part of your order is back in stock‚ you will be advised and it will be posted to you. We will pay for the postage on this element of your order.

2. Refunds

If any item you purchase from us fails to meet your complete approval please return it to us in the original condition within 30 days of receipt and we will give you a full refund of the original costs ( cost of the item/s and postage originally paid only ).

Customers from the European Union are entitiled to a statutory cooling off period of 7 working days.

3. Damage

Every effort is made to ensure your order will travel through the delivery system without any problems. Very occasionally damage may occur and every effort will be made to sort out any such problem with you quickly and efficiently.
In the case of damage or descepancies between the product or product description please contact by email: sales@teaexperience.co.uk or by telephone on 01302 538906 or 077 3690 1896. 
In the case of damage you may be asked to send a written description together with a photograph via email. Alternatively you may be requested to return the item including the original packing materials. In this instance the return postage would be returned to you once we have received the goods.

On occasion we may ask you to retain the original packaging and damaged items for inspection by the carrier ( Royal Mail ).

The hand crafted teapots and tea bowls are bought in only small quantities and we endeavour to keep the availability list up to date. As each pot and bowl is handmade there may be slight variations to the photograph used for display and promotion. If you require a photograph of the actual teapot(s) or teabowl(s) you would be sent please contact sales@teaexperience.co.uk prior to ordering. A photograph will then be taken of the items and emailed to you.

The price shown on the website for each item is the total inclusive price. 
Postage. All items are sent by Royal Mail with a flat rate charge of £3.55 for First Class Post and £3.00 for Second Class Post.

5. Customs

If you order for delivery outside the UK‚ you are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of the country to which the item/s is/are to be delivered and for paying all applicable customs duties‚taxes and import charges.

6. Your account

If you choose to use this website you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account‚ password and for restricting access to your computer‚ thereby preventing unauthorised access to your account. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that take place under your account or password. You must take all necessary steps to ensure the confidentiality and security of your password.

You must inform us without unreasonable delay if you have reason to believe your password has become known to anyone else or if the password is being used or likely to be used in an unauthorised manner.

Please ensure that the details you provide The Tea Experience with are correct and complete and inform The Tea Experience immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update much of the information you provided The Tea Exeperience with in the 'my account' area of the website.

The Tea Experience reserves the right to refuse access to the website‚ terminate accounts‚ remove or edit content‚ or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order‚ it will be without charge to you.

7. Your Conduct

You must not use the website in any way that causes‚ or is likely to cause‚ the website or access to it to be impaired in any way. Neither may you cause it to be changed or modified in any way.

8. Losses

The Tea Experience will not be responsible for any loss arising from the use of this website or in respect to the purchase of any goods.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are in accordance with current laws of England and Wales.

10. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our website‚ policies‚ and these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
